Paulo acredita firmemente que Eficiência Energética e Energias Renováveis irão trazer um futuro melhor e mais sustentável. Mais especificamente, entende que essas são áreas-chave para qualquer organização que deseje se manter competitiva e rentável nos próximos anos. Com um foco nas áreas de Engenharia Elétrica, Controle e Automação, já assumiu papéis de liderança em vários projetos de Eficiência Energética na EDP/APS (www.edpbr.com.br) e é um pesquisador ativo no que tangem sistemas não-lineares.Mestre em Engenharia Elétrica pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS) com média 9,7/10, sua área de pesquisa foi o controle de sistemas não-lineares complexos. É também graduado em Engenharia de Controle e Automação pela mesma universidade, summa cum laude, laureado pelo seu desempenho acadêmico e média geral de 9,6/10. Adicionalmente, também foi premiado com o título de Engenheiro do Ano - Destaque Acadêmico em 2012 pela Sociedade de Engenharia do Rio Grande do Sul.

Paulo is a firm believer that Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energies will pave the way for a better, more sustainable future. More specifically, he understands that those are the key focus areas for any organization that wishes to remain competitive and profitable in the next few years. With a focus on Electrical, Control and Automation Engineering, he has taken lead role in many a project regarding Energy Efficiency at EDP/APS (www.edpbr.com.br) and is an active researcher regarding the control of non-linear systems.Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS), with a 9.7 GPA out of 10, his focus was on the research of complex, non-linear systems control. He is also a Bachelor of Control and Automation Engineering from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS), summa cum laude (awarded the Academic Highlight Award with a 9.6 GPA out of 10). Going further, he was also awarded the Engineer of the Year - Academic Highlight Award 2012 from the Engineers Society of Rio Grande do Sul.
