Verônica Gonçalves Veloso

PhD Professor at the Department of Performing Arts at USP and researcher at PPGAC (ECA-USP). She is graduated in the same department, where she also became Master (supported by FAPESP) and PhD (supported by CAPES) in the line of research in Theatre Pedagogy. She did a sandwich doctorate at the Université Sorbonne Nouvelle - Paris 3, with a scholarship also granted by CAPES. She is vice-leader of the Research Group in Pedagogy of Scenic Arts, linked to CNPq and member of the editorial board of the journal Sala Preta. Vice-coordinator of the Art Sub-project of the Capes - USP Pedagogical Residency (2022-2024). She is part of the Coletivo Teatro Dodecafônico, with which she has been developing her artistic research since 2008, both as director and performer. She is the author of the book Percorrer a cidade a pé: ações teatrais e performativas no contexto urbano (Ed. Appris, 2021). Mother of two daughters, she was on maternity leave in 2010 and 2018.

Cursou licenciatura no Departamento de Artes Cênicas da USP, onde também se tornou mestre (apoio da FAPESP) e doutora (apoio da CAPES) na linha de pesquisa em Pedagogia do Teatro. Realizou doutorado sanduíche na Université Sorbonne Nouvelle - Paris 3, com bolsa igualmente concedida pela CAPES. É vice-líder do Grupo de Pesquisa em Pedagogia das Artes Cênicas, vinculado ao CNPq e membro do corpo editorial da Revista Sala Preta. Professora Supervisora do Subprojeto Arte do Programa de Residência Pedagógica da Capes - USP (2022-2024). Integra o Coletivo Teatro Dodecafônico, com o qual desenvolve sua pesquisa artística desde 2008, ora como diretora, ora como performer. É autora do livro Percorrer a cidade a pé: ações teatrais e performativas no contexto urbano (Ed. Appris, 2021). Mãe de duas filhas, esteve em licença maternidade em 2010 e 2018.
