Erika Lula de Medeiros

Master in Human Rights and Citizenship (2016) by the University of Brasilia (UNB), with the development of a research About the Democratization of Justice. Graduated in Law (2011) by the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) with Years exchange at the Universite Lumiere Lyon 2 (2010). Integrates the Research Group "The Law Found in the Street" and participates at the Project "Popular University Legal Counsel", linked to the FD / UNB. Since 2013 Coordinates the Observatory of the System of Justice, Public Policy and Legislative, from the Research Institute of Rights and Social Movements (IPDMS). Coordinates the project "Echo: network leadership," Developed in partnership with the Ministry of Justice (MJ). Part of the National Network of Popular Lawyers and Lawyers (RENAAP). Has experience in the area of ​​law, with an emphasis on Human Rights, acting mainly on the following topics: Inter-American System of Human Rights, Human Rights, Justice, Popular Legal Counsels and collective subject of law.

É mestra (2016) e doutoranda em Direitos Humanos e Cidadania pela Universidade de Brasília (UnB), com desenvolvimento de pesquisa sobre a democratização da justiça, e graduada em Direito (2011) pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), com período de intercâmbio na Université Lumière Lyon 2 (2009). Integra o Grupo de Pesquisa "O Direito Achado na Rua" e a Rede Nacional de Advogadas e Advogados Populares (RENAP). Atualmente é coordenadora política e do eixo de Justiça e Desigualdades da Plataforma JUSTA e desenvolve pesquisa sobre o Programa de Defensoras e Defensores de Direitos Humanos no Brasil, em parceria com a Justiça Global e Terra de Direitos. Tem experiência na área de Direito, com ênfase em Direitos Humanos, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: direitos humanos, acesso à justiça, assessoria jurídica popular, relação justiça e poder, sujeitos coletivos de direitos.
