Adriana Aparecida Bessa da Costa Antunes Rodrigues

Research fellow at the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights. PhD in law from the European University Institute (Florence, Italy), LLM in environmental law from the University of Alicante (Spain) and LLB from the Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (Brazil). Experience in public international law with emphasis on human rights, environmental law and cultural heritage law. Recent publications focus on the rights of indigenous peoples and traditional local communities, and the Draft Declaration on the Rights of Peasants.

Research fellow da Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights (Suiça). Doutora em Direito (European University Institute, Itália), Mestre em Direito Ambiental (Universidad de Alicante, Espanha), e Bacharel em Direito (Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro). Tem experiência na área de Direito Internacional Público, com ênfase em Direito Ambiental, Direitos Humanos e Direito do Patrimônio Cultural. Suas recentes publicações são dedicadas ao direito dos povos indígenas e comunidades locais, e ao projeto de Declaração das Nações Unidas sobre os Direitos dos Camponeses.
