Beatriz Sancovschi

Associate Professor at the Department of General and Experimental Psychology at the Institute of Psychology at UFRJ. Psychologist graduated from UFRJ. Master's and Doctorate in Psychology from the Post-Graduate Program in Psychology at UFRJ. Develops research in the areas of cognition and subjectivity, with an interest in the interface between psychology and education and psychology and the clinic. Works on developing the ideas of contemporary cognition and world-engaged cognition. Main themes: enactive, extended and cultural-historical cognition; cognition and technology; subjectivity production; atention, intersubjectivity; child cognition. Member of the Cognition and Collective Research Center (NUCC).

Professora Associada do Departamento de Psicologia Geral e Experimental do Instituto de Psicologia da UFRJ. Psicóloga formada pela UFRJ (2003) com mestrado (2005) e doutorado (2010) em Psicologia pela Pós Graduação em Psicologia da UFRJ. Desenvolve pesquisas nas áreas de cognição e produção de subjetividade, com interesse pela interface entre a psicologia e a educação e a psicologia e a clínica. Tem trabalhado no desenvolvimento das ideias de cognição contemporânea e de cognição engajada no mundo. Principais temas: cognição enativa, estendida e histórico-cultural; cognição e tecnologia; produção de subjetividade; aprendizagem; atenção; intersubjetividade; cognição infantil. Integrante do núcleo de pesquisa Cognição e coletivos (NUCC) e editora a partir de 2022 da revista de psicologia AYVU.
