She holds a bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the State University of Londrina (1982), a Master's degree in Food Science from the State University of Londrina (1989) and a Ph.D. in Chemistry (Analytical Chemistry) from the University of São Paulo (1995). She is currently Associated C level at the State University of Londrina, and is a reviewer of articles in journals - Journal of Hazardous Materials, Water Science and Technology, Central European Journal of Chemistry, Chemosphere, Hazardous Materials, Chemical Engineering Journal among others. She completed a postdoctoral internship at the University of Barcelona-Department of Analytical Chemistry- QUESTRAM Research Group (2007-2008). She has experience in the field of Chemistry, with emphasis in Trace Analysis and Environmental Chemistry, working mainly in the following subjects: metals, sediment, soil, surface water, sorption of metals and organometals, physical-chemical parameters, complexation, mathematical modeling of the processes of sorption and desorption, diffusion, and modeling on the transport of potentially toxic substances in the environment. Productivity grant Araucária Foundation, PR in 2010, and from June 2014 to October 2016. Productivity grant CNPq -PQ2 since October 2016. She is currently an Ad Hoc reviewer at Fundação Araucária and CNPq, as well as at Research Grants Council from Hong Kong.
Possui graduação em Química pela Universidade Estadual de Londrina (1982), mestrado em Ciências de Alimentos pela Universidade Estadual de Londrina (1989) e doutorado em Química (Química Analítica) [Sp-Capital] pela Universidade de São Paulo (1995). Atualmente é associado C da Universidade Estadual de Londrina, é revisor de artigos em periódicos - Journal of Hazardous Materials, Water Science and Technology, Central European Journal of Chemistry, Chemosphere, Hazardous Materials, Chemical Engineering Journal entre outros. Realizou uma estância pós-doutoral na Universidade de Barcelona-Departamento de Química Analítica- Grupo de Pesquisa QUESTRAM (2007-2008). Tem experiência na área de Química, com ênfase em Análise de Traços e Química Ambiental, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: metais, sedimento, solo, águas superficiais, sorção de metais e organometálicos, parâmetros físico-químicos, complexação, modelagem matemática dos processos de sorção e dessorção, difusão, e modelagem sobre o transporte de metaisno ambiente. Bolsista-produtividade da Fundação Araucária, PR (2010), e a partir de junho de 2014 a outubro de 2016. Bolsista produtividade CNPq -PQ2 desde out 2016. Atualmente é revisor Ad Hoc da Fundação Araucária.
