Simone Gonçalves dos Santos

Artist, dance teacher and dancer. Doctoral student in Education at FEUSP, Master in Dance at the Federal University of Bahia-UFBA. Second Master's degree in Education with Mention in Educational Informatics from the University of Chile -UCHILE. Specialisation in Contemporary Dance Studies at the UFBA. Graduated in Dance (Licentiate) and (Bachelor) at the UFBA. Over twenty years of experience in the teaching and learning of dance with a focus on Braking (HipHop) and African urban dance (Afrohouse) through extension projects in public and private institutions, non-governmental organizations and social projects in Brazil and Chile. Member of the Study and Research Group Education and Afro perspectives of the USP. One of the authors of the book "Escrita de Mulheres Negras em Conta-Gotas: sobre futuros" of the collection "Escritas Pretas: sankofa published by the Langage Institute Publishing House and at the international level of the book "Me gusta cuando hablas: Testimonios de la vida real de mujeres en Chile" published by Loba Ediciones.

Mais de vinte anos de experiência no ensino e aprendizagem em Dança com foco no Braking (HipHop) e Dança urbanas africanas (Afrohouse) através projetos de extensão em instituições públicas e privadas, organizações não governamentais e projetos sociais no Brasil e no Chile. Integrante do Grupo de Estudos e Pesquisas Educação e Afro perspectivas da USP.
