Priscila Barros David

Doutora em Educação pela Universidade Federal do Ceará (2010) com Pós-doutorado em Educação pela University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) com foco em Etnografia Interacional e Análise do Discurso, tendo sido bolsista CAPES-Fulbright no período de 2015-2016. Mestre em Psicologia Cognitiva pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (2004). É especialista em Informática Educativa (2001) e Bacharel em Computação pela UFC (2000). Priscila é professora do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ciência da Informação da UFC (PPGCI/UFC) e do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Tecnologia Educacional do Instituto UFC Virtual (PPGTE/UFC). Neste Instituto, atua também no Bacharelado em Sistemas e Mídias Digitais. Coordenou durante oito anos a Formação Inicial de Tutores a Distância (2007-2015), dentro do Setor de Processos Pedagógicos, e segue atuando na Formação de Professores da UFC para o desenvolvimento de Metodologias e Tecnologias Aplicadas à Educação a Distância e Ensino Online. Desenvolve pesquisas interdisciplinares que congregam as áreas de Educação, Psicologia, Linguística, Tecnologias e Ciência da Informação, as quais investigam o estabelecimento de interações contingentes em processos educacionais a distância, como também o desenvolvimento de conteúdos digitais para a Educação numa perspectiva dialógica e crítica. Atualmente coordena o Projeto Universal N° 422593/2021-4 do CNPq intitulado Avaliação do Ensino Remoto na Educação Infantil durante a Pandemia da COVID-19: um Estudo Etnográfico sob a ótica das Famílias e Perspectivas Futuras.

PhD in Education from the Federal University of Ceará (2010) with a Post-doctorate in Education from the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) with a focus on Interactional Ethnography and Discourse Analysis, having been a CAPES-Fulbright scholarship holder in the period 2015-2016. Master in Cognitive Psychology from the Federal University of Pernambuco (2004). She is a specialist in Educational Informatics (2001) and Bachelor of Computing from UFC (2000). Priscila is a professor at the Graduate Program in Information Science at UFC (PPGCI/UFC) and at the Graduate Program in Educational Technology at the UFC Virtual Institute (PPGTE/UFC). At this Institute, she also works in the Bachelor of Digital Systems and Media. For eight years she coordinated the Initial Training of Distance Tutors (2007-2015), within the Pedagogical Processes Sector, and continues to work in the UFC Teacher Training for the development of Methodologies and Technologies Applied to Distance Education and Remote Teaching. She develops interdisciplinary research that brings together the areas of Education, Psychology, Linguistics, Technologies and Information Science, which investigate the establishment of contingent interactions in distance educational processes, as well as the development of digital content for Education in a dialogical and critical perspective . She currently coordinates the project entitled: Remote Teaching Evaluation in Early Childhood Education during the COVID-19 Pandemic: an Ethnographic Study from the perspective of Families and Future Perspectives.
