Professor adjunto do Curso de Teatro Licenciatura da Universidade Federal de Alagoas (UFAL). Doutor em Pedagogia do Teatro na Escola de Comunicações e Artes da Universidade de São Paulo (ECA-USP) com a tese Diálogo de surdos: reflexões acerca do ensino de Teatro na Educação Básica em Alagoas (e suas possíveis reverberações em outros contextos), sob orientação da Profa. Dra. Maria Thaís Lima Santos. Mestre em Artes Cênicas pela ECA-USP (2009) com a dissertação João, Artur e Alice: Brincando de Fazer Teatro na Contemporaneidade, sob orientação da Profa. Dra. Ingrid Dormien Koudela. Graduado em Educação Artística: Hab. Artes Cênicas - Faculdades Integradas Teresa D´Ávila (2001). Desenvolve pesquisas na área de Teatro Educação, com ênfase na formação de professores de Arte/Teatro, na Pedagogia da Encenação, no ensino-aprendizagem da linguagem teatral na Educação Básica, na difusão do teatro em ações socioculturais e nas interseções entre teatro e manifestações espetaculares de tradição popular. Também é diretor teatral e ator.

Conducts research in the field of theater education, with an emphasis on pedagogy of staging and teaching theater in Basic Education. It is theater director and actor.
