Graduated in Art Education from the Regional University of the Northwest of the State of Rio Grande do Sul (1995), specialization in Art Teaching Methodology (1998), Masters (2001) and Doctorate (2015) in Education in Sciences by UNIJUI. Adjunct Professor at the Regional University of the Northwest of the State of Rio Grande do Sul, UNIJUI, RS. He is a member of the Research Groups Pedagogical Theories and Ethical Dimensions in Education and of the Mongaba Group: Education, Languages and Technologies. Develops research on Popular Education, Art/education, Education and Aesthetics, Language, Curriculum and Digital Technologies of Communication and Information (TDIC) in education. Researcher in the area of TDIC in Basic Education PROEdu/FAPERGS/2021. Associate Professor at ANPED Nacional ? GT 24 Art and Education; associate professor at the Brazilian Society for the Progress of Science - SBPC. Professor of the Graduate Program in Science Education at Unijuí. He works in the Licentiate, Design and Architecture and Urbanism courses at UNIJUI. Institutional Coordinator of the CAPES/UNIJUI Pedagogical Residency Program.

É Membro do Grupos de Pesquisa Teorias Pedagógicas e Dimensões Éticas e Políticas na Educação e do Grupo Mongaba: Educação, linguagens e tecnologias. Desenvolve pesquisa sobre Educação Popular, Arte/educação, Educação e Estética, Linguagem, Currículo e Tecnologias Digitais de Comunicação e Informação (TDIC) na educação. Pesquisadora na área da TDIC na Educação Básica PROEdu/FAPERGS/2021. Professora do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação nas Ciências da Unijuí. Atua nos cursos de licenciatura, Design e Arquitetura e Urbanismo.
