Mirna Rubim de Moura

Mirna Rubim empresária, cantora e professora de canto. É doutora em Voice Performance pela Universidade de Michigan, Ann Arbor. Foi Professora de Canto na Unirio de 1996-2012, onde também realizou seu Mestrado com foco em Pedagogia Vocal. Em 2020 lançou seu CD Ton sur Ton, com as árias de óperas que marcaram sua carreira, que está em todas as plataformas digitais. É autora do livro Voz Corpo Equilíbrio publicado em 2019 pela renomada editora Thieme-Revinter, um manual de técnica vocal completo já escrito no Brasil. Seus prêmios incluem primeiro lugar no II Concurso Nacional de Canto (Brasília) e finalista do Concurso da Associação Verismo Ópera no Carnegie Hall (2004). Recentemente foi indicada a Melhor Atriz com Madre Superiora em A Noviça Rebelde e Melhor Atriz Coadjuvante e melhor elenco como Leonor Delise no musical O Som e a Sílaba, escrito exclusivamente por Miguel Falabella para Alessandra Maestrini e Mirna. Destacam-se em sua carreira de trinta anos como cantora lírica os papéis principais das óperas Suor Angelica (Puccini) e The Consul (Menotti) nos EUA. Regida por Isaac Karabtchevsky, solou na Oitava Sinfonia (Mahler ? 2006) e gravou A Floresta do Amazonas de Villa-Lobos em 2007, lançada em 2010. No Brasil fez Pamina em A Flauta Mágica (Mozart), TMRJ, 2007 e estreou no TMSP como Anna em Le Villi (Puccini), 2008. Em 2013 cantou as duas óperas Il Segreto di Susanna e Trouble in Tahiti no Teatro Municipal do Rio de Janeiro. Integrou o elenco de A Noviça Rebelde como Madre Superiora, e de A Gaiola das Loucas como Madame Dindon, foi Old Edie em As Mulheres de Gray Gardens e está em cartaz desde 2017 na comédia musical O Som e a Sílaba. Atualmente é proprietária do Centro de Treinamentos Online Mirna Rubim - Cursos Online de Técnica Vocal e coordena o Núcleo de Teatro Musical CAL.

Mirna Rubim is an entrepreneur, singer and singing teacher. She holds a PhD in Voice Performance from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She was a Singing Teacher at Unirio from 1996-2012, where she also completed her Master's with a focus on Vocal Pedagogy. In 2020, she released her CD Ton sur Ton, with the opera arias that marked her career, which is on all digital platforms. She is the author of the book Voz Corpo Equilíbrio published in 2019 by the renowned publisher Thieme-Revinter, a complete vocal technique manual already written in Brazil. Her awards include first place in the II National Singing Competition (Brasilia) and finalist in the Verismo Opera Association Competition at Carnegie Hall (2004). Recently, she was nominated for Best Actress with Mother Superior in A Noviça Rebelde and Best Supporting Actress and best cast as Leonor Delise in the musical O Som e a Sílaba, written exclusively by Miguel Falabella for Alessandra Maestrini and Mirna. In her thirty-year career as a lyrical singer, the main roles in the operas Suor Angelica (Puccini) and The Consul (Menotti) in the USA stand out. Conducted by Isaac Karabtchevsky, she soloed in the Eighth Symphony (Mahler ? 2006) and recorded A Floresta do Amazonas by Villa-Lobos in 2007, released in 2010. In Brazil, he made Pamina in Die Zauberflote (Mozart), TMRJ, 2007 and premiered at TMSP as Anna in Le Villi (Puccini), 2008. In 2013 she sang the two operas Il Segreto di Susanna and Trouble in Tahiti at the Teatro Municipal in Rio de Janeiro. She was part of the cast of The Sound of Music as Mother Superior, and The Cage of Fools as Madame Dindon, was Old Edie in The Women of Gray Gardens and has been playing since 2017 in the musical comedy O Som e a Sílaba. She currently owns the Mirna Rubim Online Training Center - Vocal Technique Online Courses and coordinates the CAL Musical Theater Center.
