Rachel Cecília de Oliveira Costa

Rachel Cecília de Oliveira is Adjunct Professor at the School of Fine Arts of the Federal University of Minas Gerais ? UFMG/Brazil. She served on the board of Brazilian Association of Aesthetics - ABRE - for two terms and was visiting professor at Université Paris I - Pantheon-Sorbonne. Currently, she is editor in chief of UFMG Graduate Journal in Arts - Revista Pós - and leader of the research group Decolonial Experiments. She works the plurality of contemporary art on the intersections between philosophy, theory, history and art criticism. Furthermore, works as critic and curator.

Rachel Cecília de Oliveira é professora da Escola de Belas Artes da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais - UFMG e do Programa de Pós-graduação em Artes da UFMG. Participou da diretoria da Associação Brasileira de Estética ? ABRE ? por dois mandatos e foi professora visitante na Université Paris I - Pantheon-Sorbonne. Atualmente é editora chefe da Revista Pós doPPGArtes UFMG e líder do grupo Experiências Descoloniais. Trabalha a pluralidade da arte contemporânea nas interseções entre filosofia, teoria, história e crítica das artes. Além disso, atua como crítica e curadora.
