Tem Doutorado em Letras / Estudos da Linguagem pela PUC-Rio; Mestrado em Linguística e Graduação em Letras Português-Inglês, ambos pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco; Especialização em Tradução Inglês-Português pela Universidade Gama Filho; Especialização em Neurociência Pedagógica pela Universidade Cândido Mendes e Especialização em Direito Aeronáutico e Espacial pelo CEDIN; e foi Fulbright Scholar na Hampton University. Vice-coordenadora do Núcleo de Estudos Interdisciplinares em Ciências Aeroespaciais (NEICA/UNIFA), e Pesquisadora filiada ao Grupo de Estudos em Inglês Aeronáutico (GEIA/ICEA) e ao Grupo de Estudos e Pesquisas em Direito Internacional (GEPEDI/UCAM), todos cadastrados no diretório do CNPq; parecerista ah-hoc de periódicos da área de Tradução, de Linguagem e de Ciências Sociais; e membro da Associação Brasileira de Pesquisadores em Tradução (ABRAPT), da Associação Brasileira de Linguística (ABRALIN) e do Grupo de Estudos Linguísticos (GEL). Atualmente desenvolve pesquisa sobre Linguística de Corpus; terminologia na área de Aviação e na área de Defesa; comunicação e tradução institucional; e interfaces de identidade e de defesa. Seus principais interesses de pesquisa são Linguística de Corpus, Terminologia, Tradução, Relações Interculturais, Aviação e Defesa.

Postdoctoral researcher at the University of Sao Paulo (USP); Translator and Researcher at the Department of Airspace Control (DECEA); and Researcher and Collaborating Professor at the Air Force University (UNIFA). She holds a PhD in Letters / Language Studies from PUC-Rio; an MA in Linguistics and a graduate degree in Letters Portuguese-English, both from the Federal University of Pernambuco; a Graduate Specialization degree in English-Portuguese Translation from Gama Filho University; a Graduate Specialization degree in Pedagogical Neuroscience from Candido Mendes University, and a Graduate Specialization degree in Air and Space Law from CEDIN; and has been a Fulbright Scholar at Hampton University. Researcher affiliated to the Center of Interdisciplinary Studies in Aerospace Sciences (NEICA), and Aeronautical English Study Group (GEIA); ad-hoc reviewer of publications in the domains of Translation, Languages, and Social Sciences; and member of the Brazilian Association of Translation Researchers (ABRAPT), Brazilian Linguistics Association (ABRALIN) and Linguistics Study Group (GEL). She currently develops research on Corpus Linguistics; Terminology in the field of Aviation and in the field of Defense Studies; institutional translation and communication; and interfaces of identity and defense studies. Her main research interests are Corpus Linguistics, Terminology, Translation, Intercultural Relations, Aviation, and Defense.
