Armando Morado Ferreira

Mechanical and Automotive Engineer, Military Institute of Engineering (IME, 1990), Master of Mechanical Engineering (IME, 1997), and of Military Sciences, Army School of Command and General-Staff (ECEME, 2004), PhD Mechanical Engineering, University of Delaware (2001), Executive MBA with minor on Projet Management Fundação Getúlio Vargas (2015) and post-gradute course on Policy, Strategy and High Administration, Army School of Command and General-Staff (ECEME, 2015). Military Engineer, he has been a professor at IME, an adviser at Army Department of Science and Technology, an instructor at ECEME, director of the 1st Military Region Maitenance Depot and Executive Manager of the Guarani Armored Vehicle Family Project, aide to the Under-Chief of Teaching, Research, Development and Innovation the Brazilian Army Military Institute of Engineering. He has been Executive Officer and Commandant of the Military Institute of Engineering (IME), an also Chief of the Brazilian Army Technological Center. He has experience in Mechanical Engineering, focusing on robotics, with interest on: trajectory generation, non-linear control, unmanned vehicle modelling and control, as well as on Management of Defense Science, Technology and Innovation. He is a Titular Member of the Brazilian National Academy of Engineering. Currently, he is a Military Engineer Lieutenant General in the Brazilian Army, Chief of S&T Education, Research, Development and Innovation.

Engenheiro Militar, foi professor do Instituto Militar de Engenharia, assessor do Departamento de Ciência e Tecnologia do Exército, instrutor da Escola de Comando e Estado-Maior do Exército, diretor do Parque Regional de Manutenção da 1ª Região Militar, Gerente Executivo do Projeto Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento da Família de Blindados Guarani, assistente do Vice-Chefe de Ensino, Pesquisa, Desenvolvimento e Inovação do Departamento de Ciência e Tecnologia do Exército, Subcomandante (Vice-Reitor) do Instituto Militar de Engenharia e Comandante (Reitor) do Instituto Militar de Engenharia e Chefe do Centro Tecnológico do Exército. Possui experiência na área de Engenharia Mecânica, com ênfase em robótica, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: geração de trajetórias, controle não-linear e modelagem e controle de veículos não tripulados, além de interesse na área de Gestão de CT&I para a Defesa. É Membro Titular da Academia Nacional de Engenharia. Atualmente, é General de Divisão Engenheiro Militar no Exército Brasileiro, Chefe de Ensino, Pesquisa, Desenvolvimento e Inovação.
