Pedro Augusto Gravatá Nicoli

Pedro Augusto Gravatá Nicoli is a Professor at the Faculty of Law of the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) and member of the permanent faculty of the Post-Graduate Program in Law at UFMG. He is Doctor, Master and Bachelor in Law by UFMG. He concluded a Post-Doctorate (2015) at the Post-Graduate Program in Law of UFMG, with a CAPES / PNPD scholarship. Visiting scholar at the Gender, Sexuality and Feminist Studies program at Duke University, USA (2019-2020). He was in research season at the Collège de France, with a CAPES scholarship. He was a visiting researcher at the International Labor Organization, at the Institute of Advanced Studies in Nantes and at the University of Strasbourg. He is coordinator of Diverso UFMG ? Legal Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity. He develops researches in Labor Law, Social Law, International Labor Law and Human Rights, especially in themes such as theory and foundations of Social Law, dissident epistemologies, precariousness, informality, labor margins, gender, sexuality, care, social and legal exclusion and vulnerability.

Pedro Augusto Gravatá Nicoli é Professor da Faculdade de Direito da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG) e membro do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Direito da UFMG. É Doutor, Mestre e Bacharel em Direito pela UFMG. Concluiu dois pós-doutorados, um na UFMG em 2015 e outro em temporada como professor visitante no departamento de Gênero, Sexualidade e Estudos Feministas da Duke University, nos Estados Unidos (2019-2020), ambos com bolsa CAPES. Foi pesquisador visitante no Collège de France, na Organização Internacional do Trabalho, no Instituto de Estudos Avançados de Nantes e na Universidade de Estrasburgo. É coordenador do Diverso UFMG - Núcleo Jurídico de Diversidade Sexual e de Gênero. É coordenador da Formação Transversal em Direitos Humanos da UFMG. Desenvolve pesquisas em Direito do Trabalho, Direito Social e Direitos Humanos, especialmente em temas como precariedade, informalidade, margens do mundo do trabalho, gênero, sexualidade, epistemologias dissidentes, cuidado, exclusão social e jurídica e vulnerabilidade.
