Marcelo Cunha de Araujo

Graduated in Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais (1999), Master in Procedural Law from PUC-MG (2002) and PhD in Constitutional Law from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2005). In addition, he holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from UFMG (1998) and Psychology from UFMG (2010 - Bachelor and Psychologist) and a lato sensu postgraduate degree in Real Estate Law (2020) and Notarial and Registry Law (2020). He is currently Professor of the undergraduate and graduate (specialization) course in Law at PUC-MG and Property Registrar in Minas Gerais. He served from February 2001 to March 2021 as Prosecutor in Minas Gerais and since March 2021 he has been a property registrar. He has several publications, including the works "Coisa Judged Unconstitutional", "Crimes de Trânsito", "O Novo Processo Constitucional" and "Only those who want to be arrested: impunity and inefficiency of the Brazilian criminal system", as well as articles in scientific journals. Areas of expertise as a teacher: Criminal Procedural Law; Criminal Law; Real Estate Law and Notarial and Registry Law.

Possui graduação em Direito pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais (1999), Mestrado em Direito Processual pela PUC-MG (2002) e Doutorado em Direito Constitucional pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (2005). Além disso, possui graduação em Engenharia Mecânica pela UFMG (1998) e Psicologia pela UFMG (2010 - Bacharelado e Psicólogo) e pós-graduação lato sensu em Direito Imobiliário (2020) e Direito Notarial e Registral (2020). Atualmente é Professor do curso de graduação e pós-graduação (especialização) em Direito da PUC-MG e Registrador de Imóveis em Minas Gerais. Atuou de fevereiro de 2001 a março de 2021 como Promotor de Justiça em Minas Gerais e desde março de 2021 exerce a função de registrador de imóveis em Minas Gerais. Possui diversas publicações, entre elas as obras "Coisa Julgada Inconstitucional", "Crimes de Trânsito" e "O Novo Processo Constitucional", além de artigos em revistas científicas. Áreas de atuação como docente: Direito Processual Penal; Direito Penal; Direito Imobiliário e Direito Notarial e Registral.
