Lucas Pereira de Almeida
Has Music degree (2016) and Master in Science, Technology and Society (2019). Experienced, skilled and passionate musician with several years of experience, he developed compositional works in sound art and experimental lutherie with the Aquarpa Project, at the Laboratory for the Construction of Musical Instruments related to the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar/ Brazil). Performed as a multi-instrumentalist in events such as the International Electronic Language Festival (2011), Latin American Audiovisual Week (2013), CONTATO - Collaborative Multimedia Festival (2013), International Festival of Alternative Culture (2014) and XII National Meeting of Composers (2014). In addition, had participations in presentations promoted by the group 'Circuito de Improvisação Livre' in various cultural spaces in the city of São Paulo, as well as perform in recordings and public performances based on the language of improvisation with artists and groups from different artistic fields. Carried out master's research focusing on artistic performance, sound creation and technologies through the Graduate Program in Science, Technology and Society at UFSCar. Since 2015, has been teaching multiple artistic languages, mainly involving music and art performance, working on different types of projects. Is currently a specialist professor in the subjects of Arts and project development in the SESI-SP educational network.
Mestre em Ciência, Tecnologia e Sociedade, com graduação em Música pela Universidade Federal de São Carlos, atuou como multi-instrumentista em eventos como o Festival Internacional de Linguagem Eletrônica (2011), Semana do Audiovisual Latino-Americana (2013), Contato - Festival Multimídia Colaborativo (2013), Festival Internacional de Cultura Alternativa (2014) e XII Encontro Nacional de Compositores (2014). No mesmo período realizou trabalhos em arte sonora e luteria experimental junto ao Projeto Aquarpa, gravando 3 álbuns e 1 DVD, além de participar ativamente do coletivo artístico Circuito de Improvisação Livre na cidade de São Paulo, realizando performances centradas na linguagem da improvisação. Em projeto de mestrado investigou as potencialidades de aparatos tecnológicos em performances voltadas à criação sonora, com trabalho de pesquisa defendido em 2019. Atualmente é professor especialista nas matérias de arte e desenvolvimento de projetos na rede SESI-SP.
