A graduate of the Mathematics Degree Course at the Fluminense Federal University (UFF), he participated as a scholarship holder in the three pillars of the university: In teaching, as a PIBID scholarship holder (initiation to teaching) in the Project - Mathematics and Origami in schools; In research, as a PIBIC scholarship holder (scientific initiation) in the Project - Research in Mathematics Education for Young People and Adults: student knowledge and teaching practice and; In extension, as a PROEX scholarship holder in the Project - Childhood - Electronic Magazine. He pursued his academic career in the social sciences, becoming a Master in Education within the line Diversity, Social Inequalities and Education (DDSE) at the Fluminense Federal University (UFF) and then a Doctor of Education in the line Policies, Education, Training and Society (PEFS), also by the Fluminense Federal University (UFF).
Graduado no Curso de Licenciatura em Matemática pela da Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF) atuando como bolsista nos três pilares da universidade: No ensino, como bolsista PIBID (iniciação a docência) no Projeto - Matemática e Origami nas escolas; Na pesquisa, como bolsista PIBIC (iniciação científica) no Projeto - Pesquisas em Educação Matemática de Jovens e Adultos: saberes discentes e prática docente e; Na extensão, como bolsista PROEX no Projeto - Infâncias - Revista Eletrônica.
