Paulo Henrique Rodrigues Pereira

Paulo holds a PhD in Philosophy and General Theory of Law (summa cum laude) from Law School of the University of São Paulo.Co-coordinator of the Working Group on Comparative Slavery and researcher at the African Latin American Research Institute - Harvard University. He holds a Bachelor's Degree (2009) and a Master's Degree (2015) in Law from the same University, where he is also a member of the Laboratory of Studies on Brazil and the Global System (LabMundi-USP) since 2020. Paulo was a Visiting Fellow at FAS Harvard University - 2020-21, as well as Mark Claster Mamolen Dissertation Workshop Alumnus 2020 and was ALARI Visiting Fellow for Spring 2020. Paulo has developed research in the areas related to philosophy of law, moral philosophy and legal history. Board member of the Arcadas Foundation at the Law School of the University of São Paulo. Currently working as academic coordinator of the Certificate in African-Latin American Studies of the African Latin American Research Institute at Harvard University. Member of the Curating Council of the Law School of USP's Museum.

Secretário da Secretaria-Executiva do Conselho de Desenvolvimento Econômico Social Sustentável da Secretaria de Relações Institucionais da Presidência da República, junto ao Ministro da Secretaria das Relações Institucionais, Alexandre Padilha. Doutor em Filosofia e Teoria Geral do Direito ( Aprovado com louvor e distinção - Menção honrosa na indicação à CAPES pela FDUSP) pela Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de São Paulo. Co-coordenador do Working Group on Comparative Slavery e Pesquisador vinculado ao African Latin American Research Institute - Harvard University. Possui Graduação (2009) e Mestrado (2015) em Direito pela mesma Universidade. Membro do Laboratório de Estudos sobre o Brasil e o Sistema Mundial (LabMundi-USP). Foi Visiting Fellow na FAS - Harvard University - 2020-21, assim como Mark Claster Mamolen Dissertation Alumnus 2020, tendo sido o ALARI Visiting Fellow Spring 2020. Tem desenvolvido pesquisa nas áreas relacionadas à Filosofia do Direito, Filosofia Moral e História do Direito, com foco em relações entre Direito e Escravidão. Membro do Conselho Curador da Fundação Arcadas- FDUSP. Atualmente, é Coordenador Acadêmico do Certificado de Estudos Afro-Latino-Americanos, do Instituto de Pesquisa Afro-Latino-Americana da Universidade de Harvard. Membro da Comissão responsável pela curadoria Museu da Faculdade de Direito da USP.
