The Quality and Product Engineering Group (QEP) was formed in 1998 when the Production Engineering Department of POLI-USP was structured in five research groups. The QEP has been brought together professors, graduate and undergraduate students in this field, which research is linked with companies and national and international partners, leading to a significant impact on academia, with relevant and high-impact publications. QEP has academic partnerships (projects, co-authored papers and/or exchange of students) with University of Cambridge (UK), Aston University (UK), Technical University of Denmark (DTU- Denmark), University of Quebec (Canada).The QEP aims to develop research, teaching and extension activities related to research areas: Strategic Management of Quality, Product and Projects Planning, Management and Quality Control; Project planning and management; Development of new products; Applied statistics. The CNPq, FAPESP, and CAPES (CNPq).
