Patrícia Helena Freitag

Doutoranda do PPG Letras da UFRGS (linha de pesquisa Lexicografia, Terminologia e Tradução: Relações Textuais), mestre pelo mesmo PPG (linha de pesquisa Psicolinguística, 2019) e bacharel em Letras - Português e Inglês pela mesma instituição (2013) com Láurea Acadêmica. Possui MBA em Gestão de Projetos pela Unisinos (2017). É tradutora no par inglês e português, com experiência em tradução técnica em empresas e como autônoma. Principais temas de interesse: tradução, convencionalidade na tradução, Linguística de Corpus.

Patrícia is a doctorate candidate at UFRGS (line of research: Lexicography, Terminology and Translation: Textual Relations). She holds a masters degree (line of research: Psycholinguistics, 2019) and a bachelors degree with honors (Portuguese and English Translation, 2013) from the same institution. She also holds an MBA degree in Project Management by Unisinos (2017). Patrícia is an English-Portuguese translator with experience in technical translation, having worked in-house for translation agencies and also as a freelance professional. Her main topics of interest are translation, language conventions in translation, and Corpus Linguistics.
