Doutor em Direito Público pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais. Mestre em Direito Ambiental e Desenvolvimento Sustentável pela Escola Superior Dom Helder Câmara (2014). Defensor Público Federal titular do 1º Ofício Regional de Belém/PA. Foi Defensor Público-Chefe da Defensoria Pública da União em Minas Gerais (2019-2020) e Defensor Público-Chefe Substituto da DPU/MG (2013-2014). Pesquisador do Núcleo Jurídico de Políticas Públicas(NUJUP) do Programa de Pós-Graduação da Faculdade Mineira de Direito da PUCMINAS. Especialista em Direito Ambiental pela Universidade Gama Filho (2007). Foi Procurador do Estado de Minas Gerais. Bolsista do DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst).
