Graduation in Agricultural Science from Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro (1992), Master's Science and Doctorate in Food Science from Universidade Federal de Lavras (2005 and 2008). Post Doctorate in Meat Science from University of Florida (2014). Has experience in Food Science and Technology with focus in Technology of Animal Origin. Has been acting in industrial bioprocesses with application of lipids in biofuels production. He is ad hoc consulting by Adolf Lutz Institute Journal and Food Science and Thecnology Journal.
Currently has been acting in biotechnology researches with biomass to produce biofuels.
