Doutora em Educação pela Universidade de São Paulo na linha Didática, Teorias e Práticas de ensino (2011). Mestre em Educação Brasileira pela Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (2004). Graduada em Pedagogia pela Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (1991). Professora Adjunta na área de Didática no curso de Pedagogia da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia, Campus Pontal, na cidade de Ituiutaba MG. Experiência na área de Educação, com ênfase em formação de professores, pesquisa, política educacional, gestão da educação, didática, educação infantil e educação para as relações étnico-raciais. Coordenadora do subprojeto EDUCAÇÃO INFANTIL do Programa Institucional de Bolsa de Iniciação à Docência/PIBID/UFU de 04/2014 a 02/2018. Coordenadora do Programa de Graduação Assistida (PROSSIGA) da Diretoria de Ensino/Pró-reitoria de Graduação/UFU, desde fevereiro de 2017.
