Diaulas Costa Ribeiro holds a law degree from the Faculty of Law of the Federal District, currently UniCEUB ? University Center of Brasilia (1985); Doctorate in Law from the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of Portugal, Lisbon (2002). Doctor's diploma revalidated by the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE) on May 11, 2004. Post-Doctorate degree from the Faculty of Medicine of the Complutense University of Madrid, Spain (2004). Judge of the Court of Appeal (High Court) of the Federal District and Territories, in which he is: a) Member for life of the Plenary (Full Bench); b) Judge President of the 8th Civil Bench Division (2019); b) Judge Chairman of the Information and Communication Technology Governance Committee; c) Judge for life of the 2nd Civil Chamber; and d) Assistant Judge of the Special Council of the Plenary. Former Senior Prosecutor of the Public Prosecution Ministry of the Federal District and Territories. Titular Professor of the Brasilia School of Law of the Brasiliensis Institute of Public Law (IDP); Professor (on leave) of the Catholic University of Brasília-UCB; Member of the Technical Chamber of Terminality of Life, the Medical Law Commission and the National Commission for the Revision of the Code of Medical Ethics, all of the Federal Medical Council; Member of the Editorial Councils of the following publications/reviews: Bioethics Review of the Federal Medical Council (ISSN 1983-8042); Review of Medicine and Health of Brasília (ISSN 2238-5339); Law in Action - Review of the Law Course of the Catholic University of Brasília (ISSN 1518-9562). He has academic experience as a Researcher and Professor, and as a Magistrate and former Member of the Public Prosecutor's Office in the areas of Law and Bioethics, especially in Medical Bioethics, Criminal Law, Economic Law, Constitutional Law, Educational Law, Human Rights, International Law, Law International Criminal Law, Medical Law and Medical Ethics.

Ex-Procurador de Justiça do Ministério Público do Distrito Federal e Territórios. Professor Titular da Escola de Direito de Brasília do Instituto Brasiliense de Direito Público (IDP); Ex-Professor da Universidade Católica de Brasília-UCB, onde dirigiu o Curso de Graduação e o Mestrado em Direito; Membro da Câmara Técnica de Terminalidade da Vida, da Comissão de Direito Médico e da Comissão Nacional de Revisão do Código de Ética Médica, todas do Conselho Federal de Medicina.
