Lukas Ruthes Gonçalves

Estuda a área do Direito da Propriedade Intelectual desde o início de seu bacharelado em Direito na Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC) em 2011. Lukas fez um intercâmbio de seis meses na Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de Lisboa, onde teve a oportunidade de estudar com o Professor José de Oliveira Ascensão. Após seu retorno ao Brasil, concluiu seu Mestrado em Direito pela Universidade Federal do Paraná (UFPR), apresentando dissertação sobre Autoria de IA orientada pelo Professor Marcos Wachowicz e é agora Doutorando pela mesma instituição. É também membro do Grupo de Estudos em Direito Autoral e Industrial (GEDAI/UFPR), liderado pelo Professor Marcos Wachowicz, LLM em Propriedade Intelectual e Tecnologia pela American University e Policy Fellow no Computer & Communications Industry Association.

Lukas studies the field of Intellectual Property Law since the beginning of his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) at the Brazilian Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) in 2011. He had a visiting scholar period during his LL.B studies at University of Lisbon's school of law, where he had the chance to study under Professor José de Oliveira Ascensão. Back in Brazil, he now holds a Master's Degree (M.Sc.) from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), due to his studies on AI Authorship under Professor Marcos Wachowicz and is now a Ph.D. Candidate at the same institution. Lukas is also an LLM candidate in IP and Technology at the American University Washington College of Law and a Policy Fellow at the Computer & Communications Industry Association.
