Helder was adjunct instructor of Music Analysis and Ear Training at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), Brazil, and received his Master Degree in Music (Composition) from the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB). He is doctorate student at UFRJ under the guidance of Liduino Pitombeira.
Mestre em Composição pela UFPB (2014) e licenciado em Música pela UFRN (2009), é também doutor em Música/Composição pela UFRJ, sob a orientação de Liduíno Pitombeira. Tem experiência na área de Artes, com ênfase em Composição musical.
