Mestre em Direito Internacional Comercial (L.LM) pela Universidade da Califórnia, Estados Unidos (2009-2011). Especialista em Direito Constitucional (2005-2006). Pós-graduado em Direito Civil e Processual Civil pela FGV (2005-2006). Advogado com formação em Direito (1996-2000) e Administração de Empresas (1992-1995). Foi advogado interno (2001 a 2011) da Vale, MMX e Anglo American, tendo ocupado nestas duas últimas empresas funções executivas na área jurídica. Nos últimos anos foi o Head do jurídico regulatório Brasil do grupo Anglo American. Presidente da ABDEM - Associação Brasileira de Direito de Energia e Meio Ambiente. É Cofundador e foi o primeiro Vice-Presidente da UBAA - União Brasileira da Advocacia Ambiental. Foi membro da Comissão Jurídica Nacional do IBRAM - Instituto Brasileiro de Mineração. Foi Coordenador do Grupo de Trabalho Jurídico do SINDIEXTRA - Sindicato da Indústria Mineral do Estado de MG. Membro da Comissão de Direito da Infraestrutura da OAB Nacional. Ex-Consultor da Comissão Nacional de Direito Ambiental da OAB - Conselho Federal. Presidente da Comissão de Direito de Infraestrutura da OAB/MG desde 2013. Membro da Comissão de Direito Ambiental do IAB - Instituto dos Advogados Brasileiros. Membro do Conselho Diretor do ICLEI -Governos Locais pela Sustentabilidade. Master in International Commercial Law (L.LM) from the University of California, United States (2009-2011). Specialist in Constitutional Law (2005-2006). Post graduate in Civil Law and Civil Procedural Law from FGV (2005-2006). Lawyer with degrees in Law (1996-2000) and Business Administration (1992-1995). He was an in-house lawyer (2001 to 2011) at Vale, MMX and Anglo American, having held executive positions in the legal area at the latter two companies. In recent years he was the Head of the Brazil regulatory legal department of the Anglo American group. President of ABDEM - Brazilian Association of Energy and Environmental Law. He is co-founder and was the first Vice-President of UBAA - União Brasileira da Advocacia Ambiental. He was a member of the National Legal Commission of IBRAM - Brazilian Mining Institute. He was Coordinator of the Legal Work Group of SINDIEXTRA - Union of the Mineral Industry of the State of MG. Member of the Infrastructure Law Commission of the Brazilian Bar Association. Former Consultant for the National Commission on Environmental Law of the Brazilian Bar Association - Federal Council. President of the Infrastructure Law Commission of OAB/MG since 2013.
