CRISTINA ROLIM CHYCZY BRUNO nasceu em Curitiba-Paraná, em 30 de março de 1967. No ano de 1990 concluiu o Curso de Pedagogia na Faculdade de Filosofia Ciências e Letras Tuiuti. No ano de 1991 iniciou a Especialização em Alfabetização na Universidade Federal do Paraná, concluiu o curso em 1993. Também cursou especialização na área de Recursos Humanos na Universidade de Filosofia Ciências e Letras Tuiuti, no ano de 1991. Em 1999 foi aprovada no Mestrado em Educação Na Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná, concluiu o Curso em 2001. A pesquisa desenvolvida durante o Mestrado esteve ancorada na formação docente do professor alfabetizador nos Cursos de Pedagogia. Sua pesquisa foi orientada pela Professora Doutora Lilian Anna Wachowicz. Em 2011 iniciou o DOUTORADO na Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná, concluiu o curso em março de 2015, sua tese: ?Bases Pedagógicas Freireanas para a alfabetização de adultos, expressas nas políticas públicas municipais da educação de jovens e adultos e a prática alfabetizadora das escolas? , orientada pelo professor Doutor Peri Mesquida. No que se refere à trajetória profissional, em 1988, quando ainda cursava sua graduação em Pedagogia, Cristina foi aprovada em concurso público para a docência na Prefeitura Municipal de Curitiba. Em 1995, após nove anos de atuação enquanto professora alfabetizadora, Cristina foi aprovada em concurso interno para Pedagoga, nesta mesma Secretaria de Educação. Cargo este, que exerce até a presente data. Paralelo ao trabalho com a educação pública Cristina também atua na área da docência no ensino superior, ingressou nesta modalidade de ensino no ano de 1993, na Universidade Positivo, em que atuou como professora no curso de Pedagogia até o ano de 2008. Nesta mesma Universidade, no ano de 2001, em virtude do bom desempenho enquanto professora do Curso de Pedagogia, Cristina foi convidada para exercer o cargo de Diretora da Creche Vila Sandra, a Creche era mantida e administrada pela Universidade Positivo. Atuou na atividade até o ano de 2008. No ano de 2009 CRISTINA ROLIM CHYCZY BRUNO assumiu a Gerência Pedagógica do Ensino Fundamental, da Secretaria Municipal da Educação, cargo que exerceu ao longo desse ano. Atuou como docente nas Faculdades Bagozzi, ministrando a disciplina de Educação Infantil. Ainda, coordenou os cursos de Pós-graduação de Educação Infantil e Alfabetização do Centro Internacional Uninter, entre 2010 a 2015. Nos anos de 2017 e 2018 atuou como consultora junto à Editora Uninter, trabalhando na atualização e formação de professores que adotavam o material didático da Educação Infantil
