Prof. Dr. Andreas Joachim Krell

Graduated in Law Science from the Free University (Freie Universität) of Berlin, Germany (1986) and Ph.D. (Doctor Juris) at the same institution (1993). Since 1995, he is professor for Environmental and Constitucional Law at the Federal University of Alagoas - UFAL, in the Northeastern Region of Brazil, teaching at graduate and master level. His special subjects in research and scientific production are: Environmental Law, Constitutional Law, Administrative Law and Theory of Law. He was elected three times Dean of the Law Faculty of the UFAL (1999-01, 2006/10, 2010/14) and three times Coordinator of the Law Master Course of his institution. Since 1996, he has been colaborating professor at the Law Faculty of Recife (Pernambuco), teaching and mentoring in the master and doctorate training program. He is reseacher (with scholarship) of the CNPq (Nacional Council for Reseach and Technological Development) and was oficial representative of the área of Law in the Council of Assessors (2010-13). He also integrates the Comitee for Avaluation in the sector of Law of CAPES (Nacional Comission for Training of Human Ressources in Higher Education).

É graduado em Ciências Jurídicas (Rechtswissenschaften) pela Freie Universität de Berlim (Alemanha - 1986), onde obteve também o seu título de Doutor em Direito (Doctor Juris - 1993). Atualmente é Professor Titular de Direito Ambiental e Constitucional da Univ. Federal de Alagoas (UFAL, Maceió - desde 1995), onde leciona nos Cursos de Graduação e Mestrado em Direito. Foi eleito três vezes Coordenador do Curso de Mestrado em Direito da UFAL, nos biênios 2004/06, 2019/21 e 2021/23, e ocupou três vezes o cargo de Diretor da Faculdade de Direito da UFAL (1999/2001, 2006/10 e 2010/14). Desde 1996, também é professor colaborador permanente do PPGD (Mestrado e Doutorado) da Faculdade de Direito do Recife (UFPE). Possui várias publicações (livros, capítulos, artigos) nas áreas temáticas do Direito Ambiental, Constitucional, Administrativo e da Teoria do Direito. Foi orientador de quase uma centena de dissertações de Mestrado e teses de Doutorado e ministrou aulas de pós-graduação e palestras em várias Instituições de Ensino Superior do Brasil. É pesquisador bolsista do CNPq (PQ - nível 1A) e foi representante da área do Direito (2010-13). Além disso, é consultor da CAPES, onde fez repetidas vezes parte do Comitê de Avaliação na área do Direito.
