He is currently an Adjunct Professor at the
Department of Electronic Engineering (DELT) and a member of the
Postgraduate Program in Electrical Engineering (PPGEE) at
UFMG. He is also a member of the
Computer Vision and Robotics Laboratory (VeRLab), and participates in the
CELTA and
MACRO, research groups focused on for the areas of control, robotics, computing, modeling, electronics and computer vision, among others. He holds a PhD from the Graduate Program of the Department of Computer Science (PPGCC) of the
Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) with emphasis in Robotics, Computer Vision, Control and Simulation. He holds a degree in Control and Automation Engineering from UFMG (2006) and a master's degree in Computer Science also from UFMG (2008). His main interests are in the areas of motion planning, multi-agent control, computer vision, aerial and aquatic robotics and reinforcement learning.
