Gustavo Araujo Pereira

Pesquisador e Professor do Magistério Superior na Faculdade de Engenharia de Alimentos (FEA) da Universidade Federal do Pará (UFPA). Tecnólogo em Alimentos pelo Instituto Federal do Triângulo Mineiro - IFTM (2009-2012), Mestre (2012-2015) e Doutor (2015-2019) em Ciência de Alimentos pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas - UNICAMP. Publicou diversos artigos científicos em periódicos especializados, 1 capítulo de livro e resumos em eventos científicos nacionais e internacionais. Atua como revisor de artigos científicos nos principais periódicos internacionais dentro da sua área de pesquisa, tais como Food Chemistry e Trends in Food Science and Technology. Membro Permanente do Programa de Pós-graduação em Ciência e Tecnologia de Alimentos (PPGCTA) da UFPA e Coordenador do Laboratório Amazônia para a Pesquisa de Compostos Bioativos (LAMPBIO, http://dgp.cnpq.br/dgp/espelhogrupo/574244). Atua na área de Ciência e Tecnologia de Alimentos, com ênfase em bioativos naturais (natural bioactive compounds), uso de biomassa residual da indústria de alimentos (Food Waste Recovery) e sustentabilidade na produção de alimentos (Sustainable Food Systems).

He acts as a reviewer of scientific articles in the main international journals within his research area, such as Food Chemistry and Trends in Food Science and Technology. Permanent Member of the Graduate Program in Food Science and Technology (PPGCTA) at UFPA and Coordinator of the Amazon Laboratory for Research on Bioactive Compounds (LAMPBIO, http://dgp.cnpq.br/dgp/espelhogrupo/574244). He works in the area of Food Science and Technology, with emphasis on natural bioactive compounds, use of residual biomass from the food industry, and sustainability in food production.
