Bárbara Cristina dos Santos Carneiro

Doutora pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Língua e Cultura pela Universidade Federal da Bahia (2020). Possui mestrado em Tradução Audiovisual e Acessibilidade pelo Programa de Pós Graduação em Língua e Cultura pela UFBA (2015) e graduação em Língua Estrangeira - Inglês pela UFBA (2012). Professora Substituta da Universidade do Estados da Bahia, no Departamento de Linguística, Literatura e Artes (DLLARTES), no Curso de Língua Inglesa e suas Literaturas, desde 2018. Tem interesse na área dos Estudos da Tradução, Tradução Audiovisual e Acessibilidade e ensino de Línguas. Participa do projeto de pesquisa GPELLE, UNEB, Campus II. Desenvolve trabalhos e pesquisa na área da Tradução Audiovisual, especificamente estudos voltados para as modalidades de audiodescrição e legendagem.

PhD from the Postgraduate Program in Language and Culture at the Federal University of Bahia (2020). She holds a master's degree in Audiovisual Translation and Accessibility from the Postgraduate Program in Language and Culture from UFBA (2015) and a degree in Foreign Language-English from UFBA (2012). Substitute Professor at the Universidade do Estados da Bahia, in the Department of Linguistics, Literature and Arts (DLLARTES), in the Course of English Language and its Literatures, since 2018. She is interested in the area of Translation Studies, Audiovisual Translation and Accessibility and Language Teaching . She participates in the research project GPELLE, UNEB, Campus II. She develops works and research in the area of Audiovisual Translation, specifically studies focused on the modalities of audio description and subtitling through the Translation, Culture and Media project.
