Mirko Salomon Chávez Gutiérrez

Graduated in Food Engineering from the Catholic University of Santa Maria (2003), a Master's Degree in Food Engineering from UNIVERSIDADE ESTADUAL DE CAMPINAS (2010) and a PhD in Food Engineering from UNIVERSIDADE ESTADUAL DE CAMPINAS. Currently Assistant Professor in the Academic Unit of Garanhuns of the UNIVERSITY FEDERAL RURAL DE PERNAMBUCO. As a researcher at FEA / UNICAMP's Laboratory of Automation and Process Control, he mainly works on the following topics: Energy efficiency in refrigeration systems, automation and process control, refrigeration system design, thermo-accumulation, thermodynamics, food freezing, processes, freezing, cooling, Fuzzy control / PID. Has experience in Food Science and Technology, with emphasis on Food Storage, Refrigeration and Food Freezing and Refrigeration Systems.

Possui graduação em Engenharia de Alimentos pela Universidade Católica de Santa Maria (2003), mestrado em Engenharia de Alimentos pela UNIVERSIDADE ESTADUAL DE CAMPINAS(2010) e doutorado em Engenharia de Alimentos pela UNIVERSIDADE ESTADUAL DE CAMPINAS. Atualmente é Professor Assistente na Unidade Acadêmica de Garanhuns da UNIVERSIDADE FEDERAL RURAL DE PERNAMBUCO. Como pesquisador do laboratório de Automação e Controle de processos da FEA/UNICAMP atua principalmente nos seguintes temas: Eficiência energética em sistemas de refrigeração, automação e controle de processos, dimensionamento de sistemas de refrigeração, termo acumulação, termodinâmica, congelamento de alimentos, controle de processos, congelamento, resfriamento, controle Fuzzy/P.I.D. Tem experiência na área de Ciência e Tecnologia de Alimentos, com ênfase em Armazenamento de Alimentos, Resfriamento e congelamento de alimentos e Sistemas de Refrigeração.
