Heitor Daguer nasceu em 14/08/1973 no Rio de Janeiro e desde 2007 reside em Florianópolis. Médico Veterinário, Licenciado em Química, Mestre em Ciências Veterinárias e Doutor em Tecnologia de Alimentos. Ingressou no Ministério da Agricultura e Pecuária (MAPA) em 2002 como Auditor Fiscal Federal Agropecuário, atuando inicialmente no Serviço de Inspeção Federal (SIF). Depois de seu doutoramento em 2009, passou a atuar no Setor Laboratorial Avançado de Santa Catarina (SLAV/SC) do Laboratório Federal de Defesa Agropecuária (LFDA/RS), onde vem aprimorando suas habilidades técnicas e científicas no campo da Química Analítica, fiscalizando a conformidade de carnes, pescado e rações por meio de análises químicas e diversas técnicas analíticas clássicas e instrumentais.
I was born on 1973 in Rio de Janeiro and since 2007 I have lived in Florianópolis. In 1997, I completed a Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine. I also have a degree in Chemistry. My graduate studies were in Veterinary Sciences (Master) and in Food Technology (Doctorate). I joined the Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAPA) in 2002 as a Federal Agricultural Inspector, initially working at the Federal Inspection Service (SIF). After my doctorate in 2009, I started working at the Advanced Laboratory Sector of Santa Catarina (SLAV/SC) of the Federal Laboratory for Agricultural Defense (LFDA/RS), where I have been improving my technical and scientific skills in the field of Analytical Chemistry, overseeing the compliance of feedingstuffs, meat and fish products through chemical analysis and various classical and instrumental analytical techniques.
