Maíra Peixoto Timbó

Masters in Language Studies by PPGEL PUC-Rio focuseed on discourse, social life and professional practices, in the research line of reflective, ethical and investigative discourse of practitioner research and member of the DEL / FFP-Center for Studies and Research in Exploratory Practice Exploratory. Post graduated in School Management USP (2021). Graduated from the Harvard Graduate School of Education in School Leadership and from the Principal Training Center in Building School Culture and Curriculum Leadership in the International School. Graduated in Languague - Portuguese / English. Currently, she coordinates the Teaching & Learning department of the Global Offices at Escola Eleva. She was Teaching & Learning Coordinator at Escola Eleva Barra, ELA area leader, homeroom teacher, ELA, Science, Visual Arts and Global Citizenship teacher at Escola Eleva Botafogo. She was an English teacher and assistant supervisor at Ann Arbor Language Center, where she collaborated as materials writer , in addition to having worked in different Brazilian schools. She has experience in the area of ​​teacher teacher professional development, curriculum, language acquisition, bilingualism, culture and school leadership.

Pós graduada em Gestão Escolar pela USP. Formada pela Harvard Graduate School of Education em Liderança Escolar. Formada pelo Principal Training center em construção de cultura escolar e Liderança Curricular na Escola Internacional. Possui graduação em Letras - Português/Inglês. Atualmente coordena o departamento de Teaching & Learning da Central Global das Escola Eleva. Foi Coordenadora de Teaching & Learning da Escola Eleva Barra, ELA area leader, homeroom teacher, ELA, Science, Artes e Global Citizenship teacher na Escola Eleva Botafogo. Foi professora de inglês e assistente de supervisão no Centro de Línguas Ann Arbor, onde colaborou na confecção de material didático, além de ter trabalhado em diferentes escolas brasileiras. Tem experiência na área de formação de professores, currículo, aquisição de linguagem, bilinguismo, cultura e liderança escolar.
